The download file contains slow pulses (fade-in-fade-out) of tones separated by a brain-wave frequency. The gaps between the peak volumes let the mind settle down - and draw you into a meditative state. The reference frequency slowly drops, as well as the overall volume, during the course of the 16 minute session - this has a hypnotic effect that enhances the effect of the beating of the brain-wave frequency. Several brain-wave frequencies are used. Normally it is not a good idea to shift brain-wave frequencies in a session, but the hypnotic effect of the falling tone and volume somehow compensate and make a new effect.
