Finding and following your dreams
Dreams come from the play of energy within your life-force.
Most of our dreams reflect the stresses of our daily lives.
Some of our dreams are the expressions of creativity within our inner spiritual energies.
These creative dreams hint at our connection to the Spirit, and show us
new possibilities for exploring inner and outer unity and
interconnectedness.
The teachings offered by your creative dreams are hidden
by emotional noise, the stresses of life, and the cravings and
aversions of your instinctive/survival brain.
Nurturing inner silence along with gentle contemplation of your dreams will bring new possibilities to you.
Explore the meaning of your dreams, look into these possibilities.
When you discover a dream that seems timeless to you, learn to listen
to it, and encourage yourself to follow it, be hopeful that you can
bring it to fruition.
As your guide to finding your dream,
always remember that anything inconsistent with the healing forces
within all of us, is destined to pull you into the dark side of your
being. Those healing forces are compassion, gentleness, patience,
humility, forgiveness, generosity.
These healing forces inspire a longing to heal the scars of clinging
and aversion for the benefit of all. Those scars are
self-sustaining stress/arousal of your animal brain (ancient survival
instincts, primitive emotional circuits). As these scars grow - we
become more susceptible to fear, hate, rage, greed, violence.
Contemplate your dreams with the intent of finding a direction for your
life. Let that direction be steered by your inner healing forces, and
for peace, prosperity for all.
When you are sure that you have found a timeless dream that offers the
possibility of healing, peace and prosperity for self and all others -
follow it with all your heart and mind.
